2017 Rebranding Campaign for the Carolina Outdoor Education Center
During my last semester of college, I was elected project manager for a semester-long rebranding campaign competition for the Carolina Outdoor Education Center. While sure, I’d led group projects before, this was something I never imagined I’d get the opportunity to experience — especially before I’d even gotten a degree. For months I scheduled and facilitated client and team lead meetings, gave direction, delegated tasks, made final decisions when necessary, recognized problems and made effective adjustments, encouraged experimentation and creativity (hallmarks of the brand itself), and created an environment for all team members to grow and thrive.
While our team did not win entirely, the final decision makers favored the design and production elements of our project and will be implementing them in the upcoming campaign.
